Full-Grain Leather
The best possible leather.
It is harvested at the outermost part of the hide and softer in texture. It has natural grain. It is tough, porous and acquires a fine patina with age.
Top-Grain Leather
Pampered and a bit polished.
Constructed out of the water side skin but not rubbed smooth. It is more supple and cleaner to look at compared to full-grain. Not unusual in leather blazers and high-fashion bags.
Real Leather
Not prime-grade, however, genuine leather.
It is the hide with higher levels taken away. It is processed, treated and many times coated. Not so durable and cheaper. Common in affordable leather appurtenances and accessories.
